Our Freeze-Dried Emu Meat is crafted from 100% Australian emu (human grade). It is gently freeze-dried to preserve the meat’s natural nutrients, texture, and flavour. Naturally lean and mild in taste, emu meat is a highly digestible novel protein, perfect for dogs and cats, especially those with sensitivities to common proteins.

Note: During freeze-drying, you may notice a light layer of reddish-copper powder on the surface. This is completely natural, coming from the meat’s own juices and proteins, and is safe to eat. Pieces may also vary slightly in size, shape, and colour, which is normal for freeze-dried meat. The product contains no additives or preservatives, maintaining its pure, natural texture and flavour.

Human-Grade Processing Information (Supplier Provided): According to our supplier, all emu meat is processed at a licensed abattoir / human-grade food processing facility, which requires a licence stamp to indicate which facility processed the meat in case of any issue. For reference, wild rabbits carry a red stamp, while the emu meat we source carries a green stamp. The third image in the gallery clearly shows the meat with the green stamp on it.
